January 25, 2007 :: Analyst Report: Ventana Research Recommends Symmetrics nVISION Suite
Ventana Research -
the leading Performance Management research and advisory services firm - recently published an article recommending Symmetrics nVISION solution suite for contact centers requiring improved reporting and analytic capabilities in order to facilitate better performance management.
Recent research by Ventana Research shows that less than one-third of companies are able to produce a scorecard displaying all the key metrics needed to assess how well their contact centers are performing. The main reason is that few have deployed systems capable of extracting the base data they require from the variety of systems in their centers. Symmetrics offers, as summarized in the article, software to solve this issue, particularly for companies using Nortel’s CCMS/SCCS products to manage their call handling. Users can use either the standard reports provided by Symmetrics or their own preferred analysis and reporting tools to develop reporting fed by the Symmetrics data mart.

June 27, 2006 :: Symmetrics Feature in Business in Vancouver
Symmetrics was honoured to be featured in the current edition of Business in Vancouver (BIV) discussing the companies active involvement in the growth and sponsorship of road cycling in Canada. Symmetrics' CEO Mark Cunningham was the original founder of the Symmetrics Professional Cycling Team four years ago and has grown the team to become Canada's largest and most successful professional cycling team. The BIV article focuses on the business aspects of running and managing a cycling team but highlights that the success of both Symmetrics and Symmetrics Cycling revolves around having a "killer team" where individuals are always willing to put the team ahead of personal aspirations.
For many people that may be reading the article and new to cycling, the team aspect of cycling--riders riding for others, the solidarity, the shared core beliefs--is an exciting part of this professional sport. It's what draws both - riders with the squad having the majority of Canada's best, with past and future Olympians and - sponsors, to be part of Canada's number one pro team.
